  • What is Non-destructive Testing?
  • Non-destructive testing (NDT) is the process of inspecting, testing, or evaluating materials, components or assemblies for discontinuities, or differences in characteristics without destroying the serviceability of the part or system. In other words, when the inspection or test is completed the part can still be used.It is mostly used in in forensic engineering, mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering,electrical engineering, civil engineering, systems engineering, aeronautical engineering, medicine etc.

  • What is a Level I, Level II or Level III Technician?
  • Level I:

    Qualified to perform specific calibrations, specific NDT, specific evaluations, and record results. Should receive specific instruction or supervision from a NDT Level II or III

    Level II:

    Qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and interpret and evaluate results as per applicable codes, standards and specifications.Should be familiar with technique limitations. Organize and report the results. Should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and Level I personnel.

    Level III:

    Qualified to develop, qualify and approve procedures, establish techniques, interpreting codes and standards. Should have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication and product technology. Should be capable of training and examining Level I and II personnel

  • Does Metal Safety perform the tests onsite or customer’s work place?
  • Yes. Metal Safety can perform NDT testing services at customer's work place on request from the customers. Please provide us prior advance information to plan the visit accordingly. We can perform inspection onsite or client's works all over India.

  • Do the institute provide job assistance after completing the courses?
  • Metal Safety can assist you in informing you about the current job openings and recruitments happenings. Metal Safety receives requests from some of the employers for inspection, NDT, welding personnel recruitment as well. In such cases, we give priority to candidates certified by 'Metal Safety Engineering Private Limited’ considering the basic qualification, knowledge and experience levels

  • Which documents required to join NDT courses?
  • Documents required for admission: Two passport size photographs, Xerox of highest education certificate, Xerox of ID proof (PAN Card or passport or Voter Card or Aadhar Card), Xerox of experience certificates(If needed)

  • You can send us online enquiry through this website or you can Download the Registration form, fill up the application form and forward us along with fee before last date for registration. You can directly call us on given number and enrolled your name for upcoming batch.

  • What other facilities Metal Safety provide other than training?
  • Metal Safety provides training room, practical facility, basic equipment and accessories,consumables etc. for training. Training Kit will be provided by Metal Safety to each registered candidate. The kit contains laptop bag, training notes, executive pen, scientific calculator and spiral notebook. Certificates will be awarded to each successful candidate and sent to your address within ten days of training.

  • How much time does it take to basic NDT methods, MT,PT,UTand RT?
  • Learning is continuous process, It has no time limit. Normally it takes 20 days for ordinary student to complete these four methods.
